The tankini is a swimsuit, comprising of a top and bottom. The elasticized material is either a combination of cotton and spandex or nylon and lycra. The most popular neckline for this tankini top is the halter neckline. This is named after the one-piece swimming costume tank suits. Tankinis are widely used by toddlers, children, and grown-ups.
